At LWAW, our mission is to unite, support, and empower first- and second-generation Lao women by enhancing their quality of life and well-being. We are dedicated to providing resources, advocacy, and innovative programs that foster personal growth, cultural preservation, and community connection. Our initiatives aim to preserve and promote the Lao language, arts, traditions, and culture, while educating and inspiring future generations.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to create a lasting and vibrant community where Lao women and families can thrive in the Greater Seattle Area and throughout Washington state. We strive to serve as a well-rounded and trusted resource, offering access to technology training, wellness programs, and cultural activities. By nurturing a supportive environment, we aim to cultivate leadership, health, and self-sufficiency, ensuring that the next generation of Lao women are equipped to succeed and contribute meaningfully to society.
